Other than in the title and in one line in the text does the article mention that the funds were originally used to house illegal aliens and it doesn't actual provide a source for that statement. Since you posted please expand on that statement. Seems to me it's either a total fabrication or more likely a distortion. Considering that Trump has also requested funds for facilities to house undocumented immigrants awaiting deportation he is actually increasing funding to house illegal aliens.

Yes. Nowhere does this say that they will do anything to address the underlying causes of homelessness (mental health), while at the same time making these people basically indentured servants to maintain their housing. Also, why we not also do the same thing for the millions of non-veteran homeless? Instead, you have Twink Johnson spouting off about how these people are all lazy and trying to take advantage of the system. So.....why the double standard?
