Tremendous win. That pretty much seals up and NCAA bid, IMO. But to win the series and then win the Bama series might get us a regional host. And we have our top starter going tomorrow. They said during the game that no team who started 2-10 or worse in the SEC has ever gotten and NCAA bid. Gators WILL be the first. Go Gators!!! Now tomorrow I expect Boser, Lawson, Heyman and CyR to light it up at the plate.

This is exactly why I dislike putting management of that situation on the umpires. Let each coach manage their own team. Emphasize that if you don't like the other team celebrating, then play better.

I like the thinking, but not yet. 13-17 isn't going to cut it. We could still finish with an RPI around 20. But we get two shots to finish with a winning SEC road record, and those teams have done very well in the postseason.

Major kudos to the pitching. Only gave up 2 runs and should have been 0, with better defense plus 16Ks. . Coppola coming on just in time, probably the best Barlow has looked, McNeilie and Rodriquez closing it out.
Also, moving Tybo to cleanup looks genius in retrospect, with his early rbi and 2 doubles for the game.

Hoping for a great start Sat from Liam and more of the same from the bullpen.

 

Reading through the recap this morning and my ribs hurt from laughing at that post. A smiley face doesn't do it credit due to its pure simplicity. I was watching with my Dad and he said something like 'who is this idiot'. Looks like one of your sisters chickens!!

In all honesty he should have been tossed. Neely got a 4 game suspension for significantly less. There was alot of attitude in that game that should have been nipped in the bud.

Im sure they mentioned this, but the Williams kid was #1 Safety recruit in country.. Hes just kiling time playing baseball. Got first start of year vs AU, due to all the injuries Texas has had. If Beyleu(early year) and couple others dont get hurt I doubt he ever sees the field this year.

Horns w/out best hitter & ace might be to much to overcome in post season. Different team since Spencer(ace) out

Horns werent all that deep to start the year. Losing 2 1st rounders not good. but they are still at 19 wins. Doubt they get caught for sec title

 

I just saw that (Texas No. 55) What in the hell! I’ve never seen anything like this. That dude has very serious anger issues, why would the coaches allow this? Unbelievably bizarre.

 

Just what I see, but he’s straight up mimicking all of the BS that Juan Soto does at the plate every pitch, every AB. Just another attention seeking wanta be.
