Baseball Around the SEC - Week 13 (5/8 - 5/14/25)

AU-SC will wrap up series tomorrow. DH starting at 2 ET, & 45 min later

not a fan of DHs,,but if goes as planned,, be nice to be done for week, 15/16 wins and watch the carnage ensue rest of weekend.. Most of teams tied with or w/in couple games of play each other.

 

UGA/Bama playing a DH today with adverse weather expected tomorrow. Single game on Sunday.

Currently in bottom of 3rd Bama up 3-1.

Yep, a shocker and a blow to the Aggies postseason chances. Losing at home to Mizzou, not good. They need to buckle down win the next 2 then take their final series They don't have the greatest RPI.

Eric Guevara(So) 12/15 5 extra base hits. 2 HR, 9 RBI, 7 runs.

Chris Rembert(Fr) 6/16 3 HR 11 RBI.

Lucas Steele went 2/4 , HR , 2 RBI in each game. * he hit 30 HR first 2 years at Sam. starting to heat up after slow start

The 2 big bats Irish/McMurray chipped in as well. combined 3 HR & 13 RBI

Fabian even had 3 doubles..

 

aTm 46 rpi today, and can only get worse. -13pts per Mizz win. -68 per loss. Might need to win UGa series to get in.. Assuming win this series ..lol

 

Mizzou wins 4-1, going for the sweep Sunday. . I think the Aggies can say adios to the ncaas. Now 10-16 in sec and finish at Georgia.

 

With a 51 rpi, almost have to win out just to get back on bubble.

 

Lordy, a winless Mizzou sweeps the Aggies 10-1. Might be a short tenure in College station for the new coach.

Brought in a lot of new faces this year. Sometimes they gel , sometimes they dont. I think most are 1 year & pro. Maybe next years crop will like each other.
