Yep, those FBI agents that are "experienced" at harassing parents at school board meetings will have to find someone else to harass.

 

amazing how disinterested he is in actually doing the job. jsut a matter of time before a serious incident that could ahv ebeen stopped if professionalism was still the standard.

can't make it to 8:30 briefings, disinterested, national coordination being lost..

but hey, made it to the WWE events and the baseball games and wearing that private jet out with all the "official" trips

Kash Patel Is Seriously Infuriating FBI Officials

But instead of throwing himself into the job and trying to gain credibility with the officials he’s been tasked with leading, a dozen current and former officials at the FBI and Department of Justice said they worried he wasn’t taking the position seriously enough, NBC News reported.

For decades, the FBI chief has received an 8:30 a.m. daily “director’s brief” with the most important information gathered from thousands of agents and analysts. Patel reportedly had trouble making the morning briefing, so it was dropped from five days a week to two.

“Even that has been a struggle,” an unnamed official told NBC.

Two current FBI officials said Patel sometimes seems uninterested in the materials, forcing them to try to create briefs that will hold his attention.

The FBI declined to share Patel's flight schedule and would not confirm his presence on a number of flights to destinations where he later appeared. During the first weekend in April, for instance, a Boeing 757 owned by the Department of Justice made two round trip flights from Washington to New York.

On Saturday, April 5, the narrow-body jet took a 57-minute flight to Stewart International Airport, a short drive from West Point, where Patel made an appearance at a charity hockey event hosted by the FBI. The next day, the jet was back in the air to JFK Airport, landing just hours before Patel resurfaced in box seats next to hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and watched Capitals star Alex Ovechkin break the NHL scoring record.

But Durbin said the use of the plane still has limits and questioned whether the use of the aircraft cut against the Trump administration's professed commitment to rooting out government waste.

Patel's use of Gulfstream jets operated by the FBI appears to extend to his frequent trips to Las Vegas, where he has a home, and to Nashville, where Patel's girlfriend, who is a country singer, lives. Sources familiar with Patel's travel confirmed to CBS News that the director was on the plane for several trips captured by FlightRadar24, including a weekend dash to Las Vegas on March 7 and a weekend in Nashville on March 14.

In April, the FBI director made many appearances which could be matched with the trip details to find out whether he took his FBI jet and whether he reimbursed in case those were personal visits. On April 5, Kash Patel participated in a charity hockey game hosted by the FBI. The next day, his jet was back to JFK Airport and Patel was seen at a hockey match where Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin broke the NHL scoring record.

The reports claimed Patel made use of the FBI's Gulfstream 5 jets to travel to Las Vegas, where he has a home, and to Nashville, where Patel's girlfriend, a country singer Alexis Wilkins, lives. Several trips of Patel were captured by public flight trackers, ncluding a weekend jaunt to Las Vegas on March 7 and a weekend in Nashville on March 24.

Frank Figliuzzi, a former FBI official, made an explosive claim that Patel is spending more time in nightclubs than in the office resulting in utter chaos in the FBI headquarters as no one is clued in about the day-to-day affairs and Kash Patel mostly works from his Las Vegas home.

 

This is probably the best case scenario TBH. Long may he be continue to go to hockey games and hang out in Vegas.
