So I guess its safe for conservatives to go to Disney now

 

Also UAE, Florida ... kinda the same thing now

 

True, homosexuals are being dragged from their Florida homes and are being burned, en masse, in the streets.

 

That's not happening in UAE either

 

This a bit of a head scratcher given Disney’s political posture in Florida.

 

Then we’re on the same side. There is no war on LGBTQ.

 

What could possibly be the reason for this?

 

This is not being built or run by Disney, they are just licensing their IP. Similar to Tokyo Disneyland, which is superior to Disney world.

Let's hope it is run better than Ferrari world.

 

I'm not going to disagree that it's strange on the face of it, but I suspect much of pushback in Florida was due to many of their employees being affected by the law.

 

And maybe higher standards for the United Stares than, say, UAE

 

This reminds me of the “bathroom bill” controversy a few years back in North Carolina. HB2 reined in perverts, i.e., men demanding access to women’s facilities.

What followed was a baboon-howling cacaphony of virtue signaling from companies refusing to expand to the state.

So some of these same companies preceded to set up shop in countries hostile to LGBTQ.

 

Because they employee a large number of LGBTQ employees who live in Florida and they were upset by it? You get upset about things that have zero impact on you all the time. If the law was passed in someplace like Texas then Disney wouldn't have gotten involved.

 

Disney:

 

UAE are your boys. You should be cheering this.

 

Are you sure. Afghanistan? UAE? Same thing, right?

Since when do the Afghanis buy soccer teams?
