He is only 52 so i don't think he retires anytime soon. I imagine he gives it another 10-15 years before he starts to consider it unless something major happens. He is pretty young compared to others. Patty is 62, Murphy is 59, mike white is 57. Mike candrea was 65 when he retired. I imagine Patty is going to retire pretty soon.

My little girl is 7. I’ve dreamt about him coaching her through college, a stretch I know lol. I don’t want CTW to leave anytime soon. I’m guessing when the “he’s grooming Enea to take over” talk started that’s when everyone started thinking “omg when’s he leaving “ . FYI I love the idea of Enea taking over one day. Even more I love that CTW cares so much about this program that he’s thinking about its future and success after him.

Watching Ole Miss tie up the game with Texas in the top of the fifth makes me sick to my stomach thinking what we should’ve been this year. I’m sorry, but to me I see the difference in coaching specially the batters at the plate for Ole Miss

Could Ole Miss be pulling off what they did a few years ago? Not willing to predict that. But they ran the table then with some little pitcher by the name of Lee (can't remember her first name) who pitched almost every inning to the championship.

Also, Michelle Moultrie said the change up is the pitch of this tournament. Kind of sad. We Haven’t been taught how to hit or the players we have can’t seem to learn how to hit it.

I don't think Tim leaving has anything to do with his age. Just might want to do something else. Big cheese at USA Softball? That seems fairly political and he might not want it. Some lucrative corporate job? I fully believe Francesca came in with a promise that she would be the next head coach. No other reason for her to move her family from Orlando and give up a promising broadcasting career. She didn't do it for a couple seasons with her thumb in her mouth. She was told she was next if you come on board. Now, I don't have any way of knowing if she was given a timetable but I fully believe she was told "stand by me for the next few years and learn everything and then it is yours". I give him five more years at most. I know nothing.

Oregon lost to Michigan in the Big 10 tournament. They likely won't host and will be a 2 seed somewhere

I’ll be surprised if either Texas or OU doesn’t win the whole thing again. They just seem to have the pieces.

Deifel and Arky are a true blue blood program in this league as far as I'm concerned. They have a few hurdles left to cross but I am pretty sure they will eventually do it. She has taken them from the sewer to legit contenders every year. I would jump for joy if she was our next head coach but it is not happening. She owns that program and there isn't anything they won't do to keep her.

She seems to have a great culture as well and recruits both high school and the portal well. I think her hiring JT Gasso was a huge move on her part. I wanted us to do that

Like the Arky coach too but they have had teams that should have made the WCWS but got upset. My guess is that would receive a lot of criticism on here. Also, another comment is pitchers are tough to hit, especially the command of the changeup but agree we look like a lack of strategy and confidence.

Arkansas is probably a shoo in for top 8 seed. They deserve it.

This feels like the 1st year that Arky won the Tournament, am I correct?

Deifel is good but her teams seem to be better in the regular season that postseason thus far. They've been upset at home 4 years in a row 2 times during supers and 2 times during regionals. In her 10 seasons she has not gotten them past supers. Walton in his first 10 seasons had 7 WCWS appearances.

Whoever it is, they’re going to be criticized here. I still don’t understand why it’s such a common topic here as I have heard nothing about Walton leaving anytime soon.

I forgot that 2014 was the year that Heather Braswell, passed away of brain cancer at age 17. This story on YouTube will bring tears to your eyes. Coach Francesca Enea when she was a player in 2009 started the connection to Heather as a community project for the Florida Gator Softball team to support kids with cancer.

With LSU and South Carolina both losing, I think it is safe to say that we have locked up a top 8 seed. Where we fall in that top 8 is TBD. Don't think we get the 1 or 2 seed though.
