I won't respond again except to say that in the first inning Shumaker took the count to 3-0, then flew out, advancing Falby to 3rd. I heard it on the radio, pitch by pitch, the official play by play for the 1st inning in the Box Score on floridagators.com shows the count as 3-0. You can have written down whatever you like and recall it however you like. I don't care. I commented on it on this thread right after she made the out and I listened to Kyle Crooks call each pitch, plus the fly out as it was made. Not worth spending more time. Believe what you want.

 

Am I mistaken or was that BOMB Taylor hit yesterday on a changeup?

 

*Just watched replay, it was K/B/K, popout in foul territory for Taylor’s at bat in the first. Ticker is correct. Didn’t look at box score.

 

Ocala: What? Did you look at Johnny Cakes screenshot? It shows the count 1-2 in the bottom of the first. How can you not accept that????

Hope the remaining teams in the tournament beat the hell out of each other and exhaust themselves. Hate saying it but I hope OU wins today.

I don't know which is more boring, listening to CTW's pregame radio broadcasts or Ocala & rick arguing about a pitch count. Doesn’t matter for both are meaningless. What I do enjoy is when these two guys talk about real softball issues for they usually are very interesting and both are very knowledgeable about softball. Now this is one post I didn't get wrong.

Pulling for Arky this matchup, fear them more than the Vols. Wear themselves out.

 

We’re still the only upset so far in the tournament. I’m not as confident as some others about a top 8 seeding.

 

I have DVR and watched her at bat while your post was on my computer screen.

 

I’m not completely confident either, that’s why I’m hoping the favorites keep winning. If lsu for example went on a deep run they could’ve jump us. SOS great, RPI great, not just top 25 wins but top 5 wins great. Eye test not great.

 

Well LSU lost, as they should, to Oklahoma. Just as we should’ve beat Ole Miss.

 

And looks like Tennessee is going down as 4-seed, but to 5-seed Arkansas, so not really a big deal.

 

So far I think OU, A&M and FSU are locks to be top 8 seeds. I think the rest of the top 5 spots will come down to Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, UCLA, South Carolina, LSU, Texas and possibly oregon.

Yup. I edited my post from could to could’ve in reference to lsu. Point remains, hope the favorites keep winning except Arkansas who i fear most. Exhaust yourself sec softball teams whilst we figure out that it’s ok to hit change ups and strikes and Kendra munches on some Carrabbas!
