Yep. I love how they leave a little note, letting you know they searched your luggage, and all your stash is still there.
Texas average kid is at almost 500,000k, a starter on any major team has to be getting a nice check. Just plain ignorant.
Like LSD, shrooms? If so, I’m not sure about traveling with those types of products. Give it a test run and let me know lol.
Thank goodness Florida spent all that money to thwart Amendment 3 and get 8 grams of THC off the streets. On the firearm charge, I read that Johnson is 21. Would the charge be for not having the gun out of access?
This incident (if true) reminded me of how little this sort of thing has happened under Napier's watch. The fact that it stands out says a lot. Odds are there can be a bad apple in a good basket. This would have just been a normal day under Urban Meyer.
Any moment now a UGA football player will get arrested for speeding and turn our minds away from this
Exactly, the game "ain't", just boys being boys and smoking a little weed, maybe getting suspended for a game. Life changing money is on the line. If the kids want to be paid like grown men / professional athletes, well they are expected to act like it.
Don't get me wrong, I hope Halley (one or our long time GC premium members and UF financial supporters) is correct and charges are significantly reduced. Sure this is off season canon fodder for our SEC opponents to mock the program, but I could care less about that. As others have posted I no longer get any pleasure about kids from any program getting on the wrong side of the law. Am I selfish in terms of his getting a second chance? - Yes, sure I am, the kid was really beginning to show promise at a position of need. He got jammed up and I certainly don't know the particulars and sure as heck would hate to see all his hard work, possibly even his future, go into reverse, or much much worse. Young men make mistakes, myself included when I was in my early twenties. I hope the legal system and UF give hm a shot at redemption.
Obviously glad it didnt happen but If the car smelled of burnt weed and they found whatever they did, and he rolled through a stop sign, im a little surprised he wasn’t charged with dui as well.
There are quite often other groups of law enforcement patrolling the airports. All it takes is one Barney. Getting caught on departure is probably less significant than getting caught on arrival. Moving across state lines brings extra charges into play, and they can trump up charges for concentrates too.
