Must identify and support those groups who wish to join the USA. and then dear leader mouthpiece #7 calls for the WSJ to be prosecuted for this report

Exclusive | U.S. Orders Intelligence Agencies to Step Up Spying on Greenland - WSJ

The U.S. is stepping up its intelligence-gathering efforts regarding Greenland, drawing America’s spying apparatus into President Trump’s campaign to take over the island, according to two people familiar with the effort.

Several high-ranking officials under Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard issued a “collection emphasis message” to intelligence-agency heads last week. They were directed to learn more about Greenland’s independence movement and attitudes on American resource extraction on the island.

The classified message asked agencies, whose tools include surveillance satellites, communications intercepts and spies on the ground, to identify people in Greenland and Denmark who support U.S. objectives for the island.

Target continues standard surveillance pattern. Woke at 0730, fed sled dogs, stared meaningfully at horizon for 17 minutes. Ate pickled fish. Repaired fishing net with alarming efficiency. Spoke 12 words all day. Smiled once—possibly wind-related. No signs of subversive behavior, though suspiciously generous with coffee. Monitoring continues. Morale remains low. So do temperatures.

I’m really curious what they think the end game is here. We will intimidate Denmark into selling it? We plan to invade or occupy it?

Looks like we're running a very tight ship in the intelligence agencies. Shocker

wonder what this really means from an implementation perspective. Dont think we'll move satellites, dont think we'll be putting spies on the ground. What this probably means is to look through communication intercepts to see if there's any 'useful' information. How long will that take to do...minutes. What will they find...probably nothing.

    Attacks the WSJ..
Authorities his deep state to spy on an ally…
Continues to insult and threaten our neighboring countries…But MAGA insists that he is not a dictator or autocrat. Wake up!

In a statement, Gabbard said: “The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed of aiding deep state actors who seek to undermine the President by politicizing and leaking classified information. They are breaking the law and undermining our nation’s security and democracy.”

What if you get the information from your teenage daughter that was part of Pete Hegseth's group text?

Your first mistake was using the word "think" with respect to Trump/MAGA policy. Seriously, how much actual "thinking" do you think is happening here? Greenland? We already get it all for free. For 80+ years, we ask and they say "yes". The "thinking" - if there is any - is coming exclusively from two glands in his scrotum.

A "thinking" person would take what we get for free and move on (or never even go there) to a topic more relevant to lives of American citizens.

Not yet, but he's going to make a play eventually. Again, this is the singular reason Pete Hegseth is where he is. Someone who actually WILL direct the military to "shoot them in the legs". Think about it. Why else would you appoint a nothing like him to a position like that?

I hate to sound cliche, but it seems Trump is copying the model used by his authoritarian friends — sew discord, fabricate crisis, create dissension, and then spread misinformation.

Again, Hegseth was appointed for a very specific reason that had absolutely nothing to do with competence or even maintaining national security. He's there to "shoot them in the legs" when the order comes. Call me what you want, but there is literally no other reason you would appoint him to that job. ZERO!

Lemme guess: we have to invade Greenland as it is currently being run by Nazis who need us to " ahem" liberate them.

    What’s the purpose?
    Install radars, defensive missiles, etc.?

If so why not offer them money to rent the space needed to do that? Maybe sign an agreement for X number of years to lease the land needed?

    Trump is the master negotiator.

    Amirite?
