Tremendous pitching by our 2 freshmen that 2nd game. Has any other team ion the SEC gone 10-2 over the last 4 weekends? With all the injuries and other adversity, this team is hot right now. I'm very interested to see how they match up with Texas.

Okay, the game wasn't quite as boring...but I will take it. Is it just me, or is boring kind of a good thing?
I missed the postgame show, did Sully mention anything about 17 in a row without giving up a triple and how the team might be building around this? Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS

What an odd change of direction on this team. First it looks like we are prepared for another quality run to the FF (I know I am using a basketball term, but that IS what there is) but then the wheels fall off between some middling pitching and atrocious offense once the injuries began to pile up. Now we seem to have our new sea legs. I realize pitching is just about everything to move forward in the tourney, but can you see the discussion moving back? Remarkable to say the least. Have fun and get the pitchers some reps, at least the younger, lesser ones.
Oh, and one last thought. Can you imagine the tourney selection folks "letting us in but dinging us for a poor mid-season" so that we end up somewhere as a second or third seed and you are the team hosting? Talk about starting a drinking binge...
I can tell you fsu wants no part of uf as a 2/3 seed. After last postseason Clemson probably doesn't either. Not to take away from a solid weekend, but that USC team is in shambles. They do everything poorly right now
Just an occasional "Lurker", with respect to the real Lurker, but you Diamond Gators must be proud of this SEC comeback. WOW. I thought the Gators were cooked. If I understand correctly, 2 more wins just about insures eligibility into the post season. Amazing how the kids have bounced back. It would be cool if UF could take 2 out of three againt Bama or Texas, preferably both. Tip of the cap to coach to bring em back!
I will remind everyone - my son observed that the baseball team was sacrificed to the Sportz Godz until the basketball team won the natty. Look at this baseball team's performance since that night in San Antonio. It's pretty remarkable.
