Lightning delay?

 

Yes, there’s one small cell in the area… The rest of the day looks good or at least for the next two hours. Unless we are getting some more gamesmanship, this should literally be a 29/30 minute delay at most. Again that cell is moving away and any further strike should be more than 8 to 10 miles

I’ve been trying to catch who the guy is that sounds like BT Riopelle on Valium. I thought he sounded that way last night because he was tired and irritated that the game went into the wee hours, but sounds the same today. It’s terrible.

 

If I had a choice, I would pick boring but even keeled and factual over over-the-top hype with entertainment skills. They may be bottom-of-the-barrel ESPN, but they are WAY better than most of them. JMHO

 

If we somehow win the series (I realize USCe is about as banged up as us), this is going to be a minor miracle. We just don't have the luxury in the pen to do this hokie-pokie dance with the weather.

 

I don’t know… Unless the radar is completely off face, it shows it just with one little cell that caused this issue passing and then us being clear for a while. if it is just a 25 to 30 minute delay, not sure why King couldn’t stay somewhat loose and keep throwing for inning or two

 

Until 340 AccuWeather live Doppler shows one minor cell with a little bit of yellow. For the next hour and 40 minutes it shows no rain going over the Columbia area. Even the one cell I’m talking about that has a little yellow in. It shows 7 to 8 miles outside of Columbia. Right now, everything is all about lightning not rain

 

Isn’t there something about Sunday not starting a game after four or 5 o’clock for the travel team? If they pick this game up Sunday, they would have to start at 11 AM.

best chance is to try to pick it back up today.

When I got down to Gainesville in 1982 I was told that lots of men around here developed kidney stones. At first I thought that maybe it was something in the water. Found out later it was because men working outside in the summer heat hydrated with sweet tea. It wasn't the sugar but the tea.

 

Well the good new is that their guy is probably done too. He has done a pretty good job against us.
