Is Ole Missy his 3rd or 4th commitment? Wherever he goes, he'll be in the portal after a year most likely.
Won’t be his last flip he’s collecting as much money as possible before inevitably signing with Georgia.
#6, and took more than 20 from the portal this cycle which seems crazy. Who is working behind the scenes there? We lost 20 but only took 6. Most teams seem to lose more than they take. So where do all the presumed unsigned portal players go?
Even in advance of signing? I realize the NCAA was forced(?) to adopt or allow NIL, but it's almost as if they knew players were being paid and the NIL no-strings-attached guidelines(?) were left open with that in mind.
Doesn't have anything to do with signing with the school.. As long as state law allows them to sign NIL contracts in HS, they can sign an NIL deal whenever it's offered. Giving them money before they enroll at the school you're wanting them to attend seems awfully stupid to me, but it's happening all over the place, and they're getting paid just to visit now even with no commitment.
Since NIL, I only check in on this board about once a week. How some of you guys still manage to be recruitniks in this climate amazes me.
They are paid to Visit and commit absolutely, not all of them but the majority of the highly rated ones are getting paid to even show up.
Theyve always been paid and its never been my money, so its not all that different to me except for the portalette
As paidinfull said above.....NIL is independent from visiting, committing, signing, attending, playing etc. Think of it this way...you can give your money to anyone you like at any time you like. Intelligent NIL deals will have some language that assists on getting a kid to a school, but cannot be directly tied to pay for play
I will gladly make an appearance at your daughter’s birthday party for 100k. Just let me know where to sign.
