Oh yeah, I didn't notice that! I was just taken aback because I think I've only ever seen Ava 8th in the order since I started following. I think it's been working really well with Ava hitting and then bringing in the PR if she manages to get on base. Ava is the reason I started to follow the Gators so I love to see her doing well
Very passive at bats the first inning. We used to jump on teams in the first inning, but the last few weekends we've not done much of anything in the 1st. And with Galby, Shumaker, Otis and Erickson, I would thin we should be getting off to better starts on offense.
So we’re back to looking at pitches right over the middle of the plate. Seems like when we throw a pitch like that it gets hit. And why do we have so much trouble with the change up.
You literally posted this exact thing after first inning of game 1.....and we scored 14 runs in next 5 innings. Maybe let it play out
