Guys, pitching has been putrid for a long time and still hasn’t been fixed. Zero accountability for Sully. Year after year he wins enough games that he’s comfortable knowing his job is secure. He can keep his buddies on staff and just rely on winning more games than losses. Last year we pulled a rabbit out of a hat and got hot but most of us without rose colored glasses knew our pitching would fail. And it did. We may only have two or three average to good pitchers and that’s it. For someone as experienced as Sully, to me this is unacceptable
Yep, like I said, and you know this better than I, I would never throw him a fastball. at some point he’s going to have to learn to lay off the offspeed pitches
