Why does the left coddle illegals

Nah man. I take my fair of shots at people on the left. I take my gloves off as much if not more than River.

Honestly, I think I am every bit as biased in my posting as River. The difference is I've managed to piss off both sides.

But here is the thing. You cant look at opinions as just two sided. If people think I am "fair" it is actually because I disagree with both sides on a lot of issues.

But make no mistake. I am just as married to my (3rd?) side as anyone else is to the left and right.

I consider myself a conservative...in the likes of Reagan, but not the likes of Trump. That is my "side" and I am just as outspoken as anyone else about my "side".

Stop looking at this as a two sided issue. Defend your position regardless of what the left or right think.

I don’t think too many large corporations directly hire illegals, I’d suspect a lot of their sub-contractors do, if not almost ALL of them in certain industries. Any homebuilder or agriculture is going to be extremely dependent on that labor.

The right is coddling a 100% rapist with white skin, and the left is "coddling" a group of people with brown skin that includes 0.1% rapists (but the right treats them ALL like rapists). The other 99.9% of the brown-skinned people are busy picking our fruits & vegetables, processing our dinner meats, and doing home construction work for us that the Whitey Rightey's don't want to do. The Whitey Rightey's do not understand that the costs of these things will go up when we remove the people that were doing them at affordable salaries. They are not that bright.

Immigrants are also necessary for the economy to function. We need to acknowledge that. Years back under the first Trump admin, I read about a massive slaughter house in Texas that got raided and almost all of their workers rounded up, 100s as I recall. The owner said he ran an ad, looking for new legal workers, offering higher salaries, and got just one application…

That rancher probably voted for Trump 3 times….

We need to increase the foreign work programs until the supply meets the demand, then we can mostly agree on deporting the people who bypass the program and enter illegally.

 

My wife attended a landscape nursery growers conference last week. She said all 3 out of 3 major points of conversation were related to immigration reform and no workers in Florida and how the industry is in a tough spor. And most everyone in the industry votes right.
