If Musk is claiming that X owns the Infowars Twitter account wouldn't that make X liable for it's disinformation? I thought for years the social media argument was they weren't "publishers" and thus not responsible for the content. Not that X will get in trouble under an Trump admin, but it seems to undermine the long standing argument of aggregaters
Good point, they do have an exemption under the law that they are not responsible for their user’s content, but claiming to own the accounts might give someone an avenue to sue Twitter directly, should he win that argument in court. Seems like you can’t have it both ways.

What is going on with Bluesky? People more on the right say their survival time at that place is usually just a couple of days.
I am hoping more and more influencers move to Bluesky to the point that MSM stops showing tweets as they discuss what someone said publically. I used to own twitter stock, and it was an amazing free publicity for the app when normal news would highlight peoples tweets. It would be a major blow if MSM started going to bluesky rather than twitter for their blurbs.
