$600 bucks and a copy of the game will be the offer to players. Already have some saying that's not enough, my guess is most top teams will be full of generic names, but Eastern Michigan will be there in full. I don't know about other players of the old games but I never gave a crap about real names, 2-3 seasons in it doesn't matter anymore.
There’s a select few names EA could sell like if your team wants Tebow, give them $20. You only get the average players when you buy the game. If the players really want money, get a percentage of their likeness and make a name for themselves. How much would people pay for an alltime Gator roster bought player by player.
... and the rosters were already outdated when you first fired up the game as they were done in the spring. Serious players mostly cared about being able to upload custom up-to-date rosters from other players. And as you say, in Dynasty, the format of choice, it didn't matter after a couple of seasons because all the new recruits were fictional. EA could have kept the game going without "real" players but they thought the game wouldn't sell -- and someone would have sued over the custom rosters anyway.
Any amount says you'll still prefer '14. After destroying FIFA and Madden (and every title they touch) I have a hard time thinking EA will make something better than that. It will "look" better. . . and that's about it.
Yep. They do that with PGA 2K. Guys will build real courses like Augusta, but their lawyers will still sue, so we have to use fake names like "A Sunday to Remember".
If you look closely, there’s part of a gator helmet, and in the back there’s a gator flag. Represent!
July is right around the corner. I bought a PS5 only to play NCAA football and the upcoming GTA game.
Will do! I used to game heavily on my PC, but that was back during the Counter-Strike, Max Payne days lol
