Okay, so it wasn't in the bill like you claimed. The deal you are complaining about was that Israel bought some munitions from Boeing in a private deal, and as Boeing is a private company based in the US, they need the US government approval in order to sell munitions. That has nothing to do with the bill.

    "Soros funding protests" never happened.

Checking back in to see if the fake news from Breitbart and Townhall has been posted yet. Will check again later.

Leaving, for now, extremely disappointed that this debate has so far occurred absent that extremely vital information.

    #both #SAD and #NOT FAIR

Dunno, but it's nice to see Republicans once again care about politicians abusing their power and office for political gain.

Wish you had been around when our POTUS used the Presidency to extort a foreign ally into announcing an investigation of the POTUS's political rival.

No way you would vote for, or even tolerate, THAT, amirite?

I agree it seems strange on the surface, but wouldn't most small business owners, who they said theyre targeting, vote Republican?

We will probably see more of these gaslighting threads as the election approaches as defending democracy polls as the #2 issue behind the economy with voters.

Since Trump has publicly declared how he would install himself as dictator for life if he wins, the waters have to be muddied by claiming Biden has similar aspirations.

Obtuse much. The DOD is in charge of the handling of weapons and munitions, read the bill yourself, not Dictator Biden. The DOD would have otherwise shipped out both shipments.

Members of congress are ticked off that the dictator is using US aid to Israel for his political purposes without discussion and informing congress, an impeachable offense with precedence set by your party. Congress found out through the media, Axios specifically. The news has made it to conservative media not lost or unwilling to report on the significance.

It's no wonder you had to hear this from me as left-wing media either isn't reporting or is still trying to figure out how to spin this impeachable offense for Biden.

To top this off, this thread with my only link to the letter sent to the dictator in unanimous opposition to the power grab by the dictator of the national guard is not being given the serious consideration it deserves. The 52 governors, states and territories, take this power grab seriously and will work against the dictator.

Sorry for not cooperating when asked. I have been advised by another moderator that pornographic sites are the only banned sites. Thanks for the offer though.

The only one taking action to change the country to a dictatorship is Biden.

Maybe there should be two boards, one Too Blue for Swamp Gas and one Too Red for Swamp Gas. Otherwise, as I've been advised, this isn't a liberal only pond. If this is gaslighting, it's your point of view and others free speech.

Politicization of yet another department of the federal government. The DOJ, IRS, and now the SBA. This is sad but the progressive's MO.

Biden administration receives subpoena over ‘inappropriate’ swing state voter registration push (msn.com)

"On Tuesday, the House Committee on Small Business subpoenaed the Small Business Administration, claiming that the Biden administration was possibly violating the Constitution by funneling resources to register voters in the swing state of Michigan.

SBA chief of staff Arthur Plews and his special adviser, Tyler Robinson, were subpoenaed after they reportedly didn't show up at scheduled transcribed interviews with the committee and didn't turn over documents related to a program allegedly "diverting its resources away from assisting Main Street so it can register Democrat voters." This is the first time the agency has been subpoenaed by the committee, per Fox News.

    +

"The committee has given these two individuals the opportunity to speak with us voluntarily without taking these actions, but this appears to be the only way to get them to comply with our oversight responsibilities,” House Small Business Committee Chairman Roger Willams (R-TX) told the outlet. "The SBA's sole mission is to help Main Street thrive and grow, and they have repeatedly strayed from that mission to pursue outside political objectives. It's unfortunate that we have arrived at this point, but this Committee is determined to get answers on behalf of the American people."

There is plenty of precedent for U.S. Presidents “withholding arms”, even in instances specific to Israel. Reagan did it in response to Israel attacking Iraq in the 80’s. This situation is similar in terms of the U.S. not wanting to be the supplier for a bombing campaign in Rafa, a campaign which would have severe humanitarian consequence's and not likely fulfill Israel’s stated objective. Do we have an issue with Biden sending in defensive support - but holding back on items that could be used in a Rafa offensive?

Where Trump deferred, was the fact his ask was for PERSONAL gain. His favor ask held back defensive weapons to Ukraine, and in exchange for releasing aid he wanted Ukraine to corruptly announce an investigation under false pretense, I.e. something that was purely political and had nothing to do with U.S. policy objectives. One could reasonably construe that as an extortion attempt, using U.S govt resources for personal gain. Can’t say that here.

That seems wildly out of scope for the Small Business Administration. I hope they get back on task and dump this.

I agree but I also mentioned in the other thread the majority of small business owners are right leaning so it's hard to think this is some nefarious Democratic plot.

Granted this is 2020 but first thing I found.

Small-Business Owners Highly Engaged in 2020 Election
