When you have people like @gator_lawyer out there. They are going to make a deal out of anything but won’t debate those they can’t make an argument against. They are just agitators…;)

I said IF the Christian right had its way, it would. I don't trust a group who OVERWHELMINGLY supports Donald Trump

I've never known him to start a thread which clearly had agitation as its aim......unlike some posters.

That is pure conjecture and nonsense. I will support trump in 2024 and I would surly be classified as the “Christian Right”. Not to lead the Church but to be President over biden. And if he did anything to abolish the establishment clause I would call him on it. But no one including you have any evidence of what you are espousing here.

Was it him/her? Just curious if I got my suspicion right. He/She won’t debate me. Because they can’t…;):)

You don’t really believe this? Man propaganda powerful if you do. Don’t get me wrong. The fascists are trying to take trump down. But if you really believe this…trump is the biggest failure of all time!

And let's be honest, all efforts to abolish abortion have a religious component.

You're a bit misinformed. 59% of Christians supported him in 2020, and around 65% of evangelicals. So maybe I overstated it a bit as to your run of the mill Christians, but not as to the evangelicals.

Jesus is sobbing in Heaven to see his creation supporting such a rotten and immoral man as Trump ON THE GROUND HE'S BETTER THAN BIDEN. Only a thorough hypocrite would make such an assertion, and we know how Jesus treated them.

Poll: Republicans see Trump as a ‘person of faith’ ... more so than Mitt Romney, Mike Pence and others

Registered voters were asked whether they considered a list of political figures people of faith. Trump rose to the top of the list for Republicans, while President Joe Biden topped the list for Democrats. Among independents, Sen. Mitt Romney was most likely to be chosen as a person of faith.

Among Republicans, 53% said Trump was a person of faith, ahead of every other person on the list — although he was statistically tied with Pence, who came in at 52%.

Trump also led several of his other opponents in the Republican presidential primary, with 47% of Republican respondents saying Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is a person of faith, 31% for Sen. Tim Scott, 31% for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, 30% for entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and 22% for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Only 23% of Republicans said Biden is a person of faith, while 12% said the same of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump and Biden are each humans running for President. Not to lead the Church. It is not hard to understand there are two choices for who will win. And there are stark differences in those choices.

Trump absolutely is better than Biden when it comes to leading in a way that supports Christian values. There is not even a debate when it comes to that.

What are those Christian values? I'd love for people to be specific when they say stuff like this. Like do you mean "living by the Golden Rule," "mercy for the weak and sinners" or "banning abortion?"

I'm familiar with the bible, I was asking you what you meant by Christian values, specifically. I cant think of many ways where Biden or Trump are Christlike in their behavior or are really displaying the ethics of Christianity lol.

Republicans are even if they aren't Christian like Trump because it aids their political power.
