Congratulations to three great people. My understanding is that a deal was struck so that Detra Shaw-Wilder will be nominated next in Judge Scola’s seat — he took senior status yesterday. Generally good ones. Some trading and concessions necessary because Florida has 2 Republican Senators, which is also why it took that long. But good point on confusion - will change title

Some trading - one Florida Senator would not participate, one would deal. Nothing certain yet, but looks like they will go as a package, which includes some compromises
