Coach bragged about rubbing one out to her while on the phone. That's how she know. She cried foul. Thats how the school knew to investgste. He owned it. Thats how the world knows. His actions--boasting about doing something embarrassing--can and probably has, brought ridicule to the school. Which would put it squarely within the for cause termination language of the contract. Game day signs will have their fun at MSU's expense...bc he boasted spanking the monkey to her. And boldly admitted it in his reply through his attorney. Thsts why... "deny deny deny".
Again, he called her. The USA today article implies he was the one making most of the calls. That supports her claim that she wasn't interested in dating him. She said she considered him a friend, which is probably why she took the call. He also apparently had total control on whether or not she could be at team meetings as a "vendor" so that's another reason to remain friendly with him. You are doing nothing to prove they had a "relationship" other reposting that maybe he thought they were, or maybe thought she was leading him on or something... But there are literally text messages posted in the USA today article where she is complaining to a friend about him hitting on her, and her saying she's rebuffing him, so his perception of what was going on doesn't match her evidence.
I think there should be enough verifiable data out there for Tucker's take to cross path with Tracy's take and see if he's actually the only *bad* guy in this encounter. If we're being honest, Tucker is getting a raw deal if he's the only one that is being scrutinized in this regard. I'd be curious to know if Tucker has verifiable text evidence that would suggest otherwise. I know he claims to have Venmo'd Tracy some money for a gift (or something to that effect). One of Tucker's complaints is that his side isn't being heard, and I think that's a valid complaint if true. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
He's a hell of a coach. An act of contrition, a promise to behave himself in the future... I'd consider hiring him np. I suspect he'll be pacing someone's sideline as head coach as soon as next year. Just not for 9.5 mil/ yr, and prolly not in the big 10. Perhaps out west or down south somewhere... Btw, there's only one AD who had to wrestle with "reasons to keep". The rest need only weigh reasons to hire, against alternatives. ....and this strikes me as easily compartmentalized, though it will leave a permanent scar.
LOL. You know what's easy to do with about someone who you don't want to talk to? Don't talk to them? I didn't realize he was forcing her to talk to him. So you are quoting the USAToday article which was basically written by her lawyer. What do you think they will try to portray? It's their side of the story. It's just that her story doesn't pass the smell test. So you think the woman only talked to him so she could use him for business purposes. Got it. She did 1 speaking engagement at MSU 2 years prior. Again, if someone who I didn't want a relationship with kept calling me I'd block them. Done and done.
Ok call a client afterhours and tell them you are jerking off, I'm sure you will keep your job lol. Dont be so literal, jesus.
The university fired him. I assume there was an attempt to vet the stories. Limited amount of data so I’d go with most likely… I am not on his jury right now. How is your defense of Kevin Spacey going? I assume you defend all men accused of harassment who claim they were consensual?
Out of curiosity...if coach Napier was accused of telling a (not his wife) gal that he was rubbing one out while chit chatting with her on the telly, and his reply was "well yeah, but..." Would you give a shit what came after 'yeah'? Would you want to keep him on as HC?
But they actually posted evidence to back up her story, there, in the USA today article... some text messages. If he has text messages proving she was in love with him and is a "scorned woman", he can make them public. I might change my mind if he wants to offer up some evidence. Also, your last paragraph is pure misogyny. What they hell is wrong with a woman talking to a man for "only" business purposes? That's considered "using him"? Also, it appears she had at least three visits to the campus over the two years, two speeches and one to be an honorary captain, plus a 4th one scheduled when this went south. And do the math, 27 calls over 2 years is a little more than once a month. Hardly what I'd call a "relationship" in the boyfriend/girlfriend sense of the word. I think it's obvious he "liked" her, but should have taken her multiple "no" answers.
I've never talked to a client at midnight nor received a call from a vendor at midnight to talk for 30 minutes. Good try.
Exactly, even if everything was above board it was "the perfect phone call" as Trump would say, would you want the highly-paid public face of your school who goes into parents living rooms and tells them they are going to mold their kid to be a man to be doing that?
LOL. Why do you think MSU is firing him? If he went 11-1 last year he wouldn't be fired right now. They want out of the stupid contract they gave him and are using this as the reason why. The rest is you believing one side.
This is what we did to Coach Mac, is anyone sad about that? Mel's lawyers are just fighting for a settlement so he walks away with more money than being fired for cause, just like Mac's did. You dont have to believe all the shit they are throwing out there so he gets a bigger bag either.
Misogyny? Reaching I see. She wasn't talking to him at midnight for business purposes. You can choose to believe her lawyers take on this. I'll take the middle here and think both were not in the right. Tucker shouldn't have been in the relationship and she should've avoided his calls at midnight. Simple as that. Let's see what the text messages show. I'm sure Tucker will have them released if they help his case.
