This is from your OP: "Was shocked to see such political shlock during a college football game." So you were upset over a political ad during a college football game. Let me ask you this, what do you want to happen to avoid seeing that ad during college football? Do you think that ad should have to be cleared by the FCC or FEC before it can air?
We've all posted with you on this board for years and seen you beclown yourself time after time on racial topics. The real racism is critical race theory or courts remedying Alabama's attempts to draw maps that deny Black people proportionate representation. You calling a Black man the n-word to his face is not racism. I'm so happy to have you here as the racism decider.
Please share with us what exactly is your point? I read the first post, your OP and it absolutely seemed that you were surprised and unhappy about the ad being played during football.
To claim that when a black man says to me "I'm just a blind N" and I answer "Even a blind N should see that" is being a racist or is like calling him the N-word is the racist act. Claiming he had the right to call himself a blind N in the middle of an argument and I had no right to respond is racist. I can repeat the words he uses in a discussion and if you can't see that there is something wrong with your logic.
Look who slinked back in here. Are those bombshell Durham report arrests you breathlessly promised occurring anytime soon?
No. I wasn't upset over a political ad during a college football game. I've made it pretty clear what I disagreed with. I have no expectation for the FCC or FEC and reserve my right to comment critically about ads. Have you provided any thoughts about the ad?
Got pretty much what I expected. Never promised arrests. Stupid comments like that are why I stopped posting here. Thought I had you on block. Going to correct that mistake.
Your OP comes off like you were. It actually says you were in it. Several posters have stated that is what it read like. Once again, I could not care less what political ads are run during sporting events since you can just mute them. If you were upset over a CRT ad, there are threads about CRT on this board, why start a new one? What is more important to me is that both sides get to run them, the American people can decide for themselves whether to pay attention to them or not.
Block me all you want, I can still see your posts. No, you just came on here to breathlessly post every new paragraph from right wing media about all the wrongdoing Durham was going to find and how much trouble everyone was going to be in. When Durham produced nothing, you slinked away like a typical Nole.
Why are we rehashing something from months.. years back in this thread? Get a room or at least send a private message… unless you just want to insult and stir the pit instead of contributing anything worth while.
All good darling. Glad to know the answer to my question. You just want to insult and flamethrower. Thanks for playing.
I stopped using Cathode Ray Tube televisions a long time ago. But if someone wants one, they should be able to have one. That's my position, and I'm willing to die on that hill.
First, I wasn't upset. You inserted that word to project a faulty narrative. Also, I wasn't objecting to "a political ad" as you and ridgetop have intimated. I am objecting to this specific political ad because it's fallacious.
Just curious - who are you responding to? I'm confused because if it's one of the few I have on ignore, I don't understand why they could see a thread I started. Thanks
You said you were "shocked" about seeing such a political ad. That comes off as being upset about it. Why are you objecting to a political ad because it is fallacious? The majority of them are to anyone on the other side of the issue.
Thanks for proving my point that your perspective is not worth taking seriously in a conversation about racism.
Sounds like it's USMCNole. People you ignore (or who ignore you) can see the thread if it's at the top of the forum.
