Trump interview explodes online, now exceeds 200 million views! (wnd.com) Explained the Daily Mail, "The former president boasted about the success of the broadcast in a post to Truth Social Thursday morning: 'The Tucker Carlson Interview with me was a BLOCKBUSTER. Could hit 200,000,000 Views, and more! Thank you! I hope it was enjoyed by everyone.'" Even so, "The viewing figures are almost certain to eclipse the number of Americans who tuned into Fox to watch Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy and the rest of the GOP field go to battle to try and close the gap with the frontrunner," the report explained. Carlson asked Trump about whether the U.S. is heading toward a civil war, and Trump noted, "There's tremendous passion and there's tremendous love. You know, January 6 was a very interesting day because – they don't report it properly. I believe it was the largest crowd I've ever spoken before and you know, some of the crowds I've spoken before – I think that the biggest crowd I've ever spoken before was on January 6." He added, "There's a level of passion that I've never seen. There's a level of hatred that I've never seen. That's probably a bad combination." Trump gave a great interview
200 million views according to Trump. No chance 200 million people watched. I'd be shocked if it were even 2 million.
Reminiscent of Lincoln’s famed words about the gravity of the actual civil war: “You know, the civil war was a very interesting war because – they don't report it properly. I believe it was the largest crowd I've ever spoken before. They always focus on the 600,000 Americans killed, but my Gettysburg audience was probably twice that!”
Read that anyone who scrolls past a tweet or retweet counts as a “view”. Reuters… “It is unclear, however, how long visitors to the site watched the pre-recorded event. X view counts include anyone who scrolled past the video or watched for just a few seconds, as well as those who viewed the entire interview. Some viewers could be counted twice if they watched the video at different times or on different devices.”
Trump is on good terms with Tucker for now, but as soon as they’re on the outs Trump will clown him for having pathetic book sales. It’s what he does.
Needless to say, a good bit of what Trump said in the interview wasn’t quite true. FactChecking Trump's Interview with Carlson - FactCheck.org

I thought it was Carlson who is on record (I think it was in an email to one of his colleagues) that he can't stand Trump or hates him or words to that effect. And Trump sits down with him for a friendly interview? I don't remember Trump saying a word about Carlson's opinion of him, which non-payback is downright weird for Trump. Am I thinking of somebody else?
Yeah that was definitely Tucker who said he hates Trump’s guts. I’m guessing Trump didn’t catch wind of it because he was so caught up in dealing with his maelstrom of legal problems. Or maybe he did hear it but decided to give Tucker a pass this time because he needs the platform.
