I don't want people that lack educational experience determining what my kids can read and learn in school. People have successfully had books removed from schools only to admit that they never read the book. These are random people affecting the curriculum for millions of kids

Where the heck did you or your children go to school? Teachers are doing no such thing! There may be a rogue teacher here or there, but the overwhelming majority teach subject matter. Now, it's probably different in the Christian schools, but the right isn't aiming their ire in that direction, are they?

I’m disappointed that your children suffered through poor education and teaching.

Thankfully, we had terrific schools (in our South Florida community) with amazing teachers and administrators. My kids have never been indoctrinated, and were prepared for college. My brother’s kids had the same experience in their Panama City schools, as did my sister’s kids in their Dallas schools. My cousins (Denver, LA, Atlanta) all had pretty similar experiences. To be sure, I don’t know of a single person that sent their kid to a public school where their kid was indoctrinated.

Because of my experiences, I think the entire MOL theme is a contrivance. I think the Chris Rufo-conceived attack on our educational system is a GARGANTUAN-sized, politically-conceived attack to replace American values with far-right extremist Christian ideology.

Still, I’d be interested in hearing about the terrible experiences, with examples, that your kids suffered through that lends support to your views. Because I sure hope your views are not derived from the propagandized Foxian-Carlson talking points.
