I think this would be huge for Gator FB. Maybe it would allow UAA to take the lead in any and all NIL deals, with boosters/donors having confidence that UAA provides oversight and a professional operation.
Same reason the Supreme Court determined that an athlete cannot be prevented from making money from their N, I, and L, they will rule that you cannot place a cap on how much they can make. Also if you place caps then players won’t get an equal slice of pie. Will divide the locker room. Even though the NFL makes it work, these are still “college kids” not viewed as professionals. Give it 30 years and college sports will be a professional league of its own.
