A bad defense is tougher for me to watch than a struggling offense. This is just awful.

 

Losing 1 on 1s on defense.

 

Advantage is now A&M. We have to score on every drive from here on out and hope A&M either punts or turns the ball over once.

 

I'm occasionally optimistic about the offense. Not so much so with the defense...

 

Napier has to get this figured out.
He’s got to run AR. Have to do it. His playcalling 3-4 games on a row before half is hindering us.
At least force the other team to use timeouts.
Now we are at a major disadvantage with then getting ball back.

We make every offense look top 10 and every fan base wonder why their team can’t do this every week. Lol

 

It is certainly disheartening to watch this D. Just not fun to watch and creates all sorts of negativity

 

Just when I think the defense can't get any worse they do, this is hard to watch!

 

It was nice of them to leave us enough time for a quick touchdown to end the half.

 

Good thing we didn't get beat deep. Glad to have those defenders 30 yards back.

Our team is made up of life-long football players. I believe they are playing in games just about like they play in practice and just about the way our staff coordinates... IOW, it's not talent, it's training, focus, scheme, and all the things that come down to coaching. Napier, being in love with his assistants, is in a bind. Next season we have to have a better defense regardless of who is our DC, DL coach, LB coaches, etc.

 

If Billy can't defeat Jimbo, I fear the worst.
