We definitely need the latter but may also need the former. Hard to say when the QB isn't seeing guys wide open and so on.

This offensive system is not designed for that. Long developing routes with hard play action and no coverage beaters. It’s boom or bust by design

Our lack of quality tight end play is hurting us on both sides of the ball.

I would love to see the message boards in the first year of Kirby's job. Would they look like this?

    I really am curious

Nobody really knows if it will get better or not. It’s not as if Napier has any sort of FBS resume. Can we at least wait for it to actually get better instead of making all of these empty proclamations?

It looks to me that we are not planing to win this season. The plays are not designed to suit ar strength. We seem to hell bent to develop his passing. Maybe it’s good for next year or the long run if he stays four years

Like I said in another thread, the majority of posters said they expected the dawgs to kick our butts and now they are complaining because they did. LOL.

So, if we went from decent/good to elite, we would...what? Our O-line is pretty decent. Are we going to get to "the promised land" if they were elite? Are you sure?

This team has issues. And it isn't just about the O-line. It is what it is.

The only good thing about a Gator loss is Steve Russell's call in show

I detest Russell, but find him getting agitated strangely amusing

I think Napier needs to stop these analytics plays where we try to go on 4th down on our side of the field. We don't have the 2020 offense so we should punt the ball. At least you force Georgia to make more plays for longer possessions in order to score, not give them the ball on our side of the field. That to me is no different than a turnover.

I’m sorry, but these posts are really irritating. You are basically proclaiming Napier will win a natty at Florida and you really have no evidence to back it up. By your logic, every coach who struggled in year 1 would eventually win a natty. Unfortunately, it simply doesn’t work that way.

I disagree. Look up the numbers from UL. AR is at the same number he was last year.

    OL is fine.

Better play design would make this a pretty consistent top 20 offense. It doesn’t need to be an elite style just average and we are top 20

Defense has major personnel issues. The calls themselves are ok but playing them at odd times (zone when the other QB sucks with man, etc). But better personnel would make a bigger difference… but scheme can improve too
