Apparently Sunday at 12 women's volleyball is more important than a football game

I wonder if the football game might get picked up. They had to reschedule on short notice, so it may take the networks some time to shift things around.

 

Wonder if the NFL games have anything to do with it.

They weren't going to cancel or move already scheduled programs. About all they do is to put a game that has started and scheduled on ESPN News until the other game is over. A game is different than the news.

Nobody is going to change their TV schedule to watch a disappointing 2-2 team beat up a 1-2 FCS team coming off a loss to Montana State after letting Oregon hang 70 the week before, on a field that was just flooded by a hurricane. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on that one.

College games cannot go up against the NFL during the regular season.

 

I am pretty sure each SEC is contractually bound to have one + game per year.
This is more to promote the ESPN + channel than it is to select the optimal vehicle to televise the program to the most eyes.

 

Gotcha. It's disappointing that it's not.

I know some like espn+ but I have enough streaming services I don’t need another one. Especially not paying to watch this game vs FCS. I’ll take the suggestion of a prior poster to try the new radio team (or free stream through the vpn on some free site).

 

We had to listen to him during the first half of the Kentucky game because we lost cable and internet. My issue with him is that he didn’t give enough description of what happened. Had to get a clue from the crowd noise.
