Tell that to Hunter Biden, Hilary Clinton (who should be in jail) Eric Swalwell (who should have been publicly hanged) or the Kennedy's. The top Democrats have always gotten to play be a different set of rules than everyone else. Heck the pandemic proved that, rules for thee but not for me.

For the Democrats on here, this will backfire on the Democratic party. I personally was okay with either Trump or DeSantis and could understand the desire for some people to want Trump to move aside and support DeSantis. I'm all Trump now again. All this will do is energize Trump and the base.

What just happened today, this is Communist Third World stuff. This is nothing more than trying to eliminate a political opponent. Gerald Ford wasn't a great President but he understood that going after Nixon after he resigned due to Watergate would do nothing but further hurt the country. That's all this will do.

It's amazing how you all still say stuff like "they're still building the case". They've been trying to build a case for 7 years. Donald Trump is the most investigated man in human history and yet they still can't get anything on them. I'm pretty sure most people on this board would have more skeletons in their closet than Donald Trump has.

This is a very dangerous route to go down and for those Democrats on here, you should be concerned. Ron DeSantis, you're doing a good job but you get to wait until 2028 now. It's all Trump now for 2024. I'm registered as an Independent (left the Republican party after they turned their back on Trump after 1/6) but will return to the Republican party just to vote for Trump in the primaries against anyone else.

 

I want to agree with that, but after covid I’m not so sure. I now think governor is more important. If Florida had Gillum for a governor during Covid then I’d Probly be out of business now.

I cringe to think how awful it would've been if Gillum had won and been in charge during COVID. My company is large and wouldn't be out of business but it would have been in for a far greater amount of hurt.

For me personally I was laid off for just over one year (late April 2020 to early June 2021) and during that time I had more mobility since I wasn't working. I'm originally from Kentucky and all of my family are up there. I thought about temporarily moving up there but everything up there was closed. The fact that Florida never really shut down is what kept me here during the heart of the pandemic. If Gillum had won I have no doubt he would've shut Florida down just like California and New York. If that had happened I probably would've either gone back to Kentucky to be with family for at least a few months or maybe even temporarily have moved to Tennessee or Texas. Who knows if I would've come back. I'm sure others would've been in the same boat.

 

One where you're held accountable if you break the law? Yup, that's the America I know and love!

Fascinating stuff. It is interesting that you call for specific outcomes (jail, death, etc.) without trials even having been done when it is Democrats but apparently want Republicans to be immune from even being investigated for the good of the country, all while railing against uneven enforcement because we don't have such a system.

 

And yet Hilary Clinton, Hunter Biden and Eric Swalwell have never even been investigated. Never even had a threat of a trial despite more evidence (Russia interfered in 2016, they interfered trying to get Hilary Clinton in office). How long have they been investigating Trump and yet still need more time? Trump is the most investigated person in human history and yet they still can't find anything. I hope when Trump gets back in that he completely dismantles the FBI.

Well, this is false. Every report has now shown that the Russian government preferred Trump and invested in his campaign, who was sharing information with Russian agents and meeting with Russian agents.

He has been found guilty of a number of things over the years. Racial discrimination in the housing industry. I believe he is currently unable to run a charity because of his actions. There is an alternative explanation to a grand conspiracy as to why he is investigated often: he engages in a lot of illegal or potentially illegal activity.

 

Let's not overlook that Trump himself broke this news and is so far the main source of the story, even to CNN.
