I could do perfectly fine with no music during a game aside from Take Me Out to the Ball Game and as a reminder when you come to my neighborhood stay off my lawn
Last night my MIL wanted to know why the Loving Spoonful was called that. I told her about the Willie Dixon song Spoonful that Howlin Wolf and Cream recorded. She had no idea. I didn't talk about the bragging of 10 CC.
Watched the first episode, first season of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix today. In the episode they played "I Think We're Alone Now" but the Tiffany cover and not the awesome Tommy James and the Schondell's version.
I resisted the urge to post The Chordettes singing Mr Sandman after this. Kind of a polar opposite tune. Old folks might remember it from when it was released and younger folks will know it from Back to the Future.
Last night my wife and I listened to Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan, Workingman's Dead by the Grateful Dead and Court and Spark by Joni Mitchell. Lots of great songs but none that I would think would be walk up music.
Dire Straits Sultan of Swing would be very cheeky. I bet those English boys had no idea who Babe Ruth was.
Not a walk up song but a great backdrop song to highlight a great season— “We are the Champions”—Queen.
Anything that is good hard wrap with a lot of cursing and body parts being explained. That makes me wanna really throw the ball hard.
