(SB) Ongoing UF Softball Commentary

Hightower getting pounded. I'm afraid this team is done.

 

Top of the 6th, Gators had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and scored a whopping 1 run.

 

They just arent great, The pitching isnt there, the hitting isn't there, the fielding isn't there.

 

And gave it right back in the bottom of the 6th where it is LSU 7-1.

 

There goes our Super Regional hosting chance, We just need to hope we can win our regional

 

Tim Walton and his staff are just clueless. How do you put two hitters in the starting lineup hitting under .200? And yet your 3rd best hitter in SEC play can't start or pinch hit? What has he been doing this year? Also, sorry but Pittman is not an SEC level pitcher.

 

Gators are run ruled in the 6th 9-1. Their offense produced 1 run on 2 hits.

 

Embarrassing season..

 

This team is boring and painful to watch. Out hit 15 - 2 tonight and run ruled 2 of the last five games. I'm sorry to say but they do not deserve to host a regional game.

 

Sad very sad;(

 

SEC teams know that after they get past Echols it's downhill and pitch accordingly. When CTW goes to Pittman it usually means he has conceded the game. My 7 year old granddaughter's SB games are more exciting.

We seem to get worse as the season progresses...

 

We can beat up the weak OC teams, but our lineup after Echols cannot handle SEC pitching.

 

If we don't host a regional and get slaughtered in the SEC tournament it wouldn't surprise me if TW might say he has had enough and resign. I hope that doesn't happen but if it does Beth Torina ( ex Gator softball player) would not be a bad replacement.

 

Shocking...wonder how Walton can turn this around

 

What the hell happened to our offense?

 

How do you rate someone as a good leader when they can’t make the tough decisions?
