The building looks nice on the outside but small inside. It only holds about 3500 but should be fine for a holiday tourney. FS1 will probably keep most angles to some tight shots otherwise the viewer will be looking at walls after the first level. Imagine the O'Dome from the walk-in level down for seating but that's about all you can compare.
Reminds me of Belmont univ. Nashville. Small, modern and every seat is a good one. Hopefully we can get the local and Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater Gator Fans. California has good size and the players look physical from the university roster shots. Should be a good game!
I wonder if they will put some giant sticker on the floor at center court to cover up the big Bucs emblem with some Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce sign.
Yea. Both their Men’s and Women’s team are top flight. Women’s softball USF very good and baseball now too ( hired a good coach 3 years ago).
Cal really struggling to start the year, but it’s another great test of bringing effort against a team people expect you to beat.
Yep City of Palms has quite the rep. I've never been but have a friend that scouts HS players who goes every year. Its his number one stop on the calendar. The Arena seems ideal for the City of Palms verses some of the other places.
