In his defense, who would have ever thought Fauci’s vax status could be verified just by using Google.

    https://www.newsobserver.com/news/coronavirus/article254229818.html

A self-described “right-wing religious fanatic” online radio host in Colorado who battled COVID-19 vaccine and mask mandates has died of coronavirus, his co-host said.

Bob Enyart and his wife, Cheryl, had been hospitalized with COVID-19 for more than a week, according to a Facebook post by Denver Bible Church, where he was a pastor.

Both had refused COVID-19 vaccines over concerns about the process to develop them, according to the website of his online Real Science Radio show.

Meanwhile, hospital costs for the unvaccinated continue to rise. Over $5 billion over the last three months, with a conservative estimate that 84% of these hospital visits could have been avoided with the vaccine. Freedom isn't free, and here are the actual costs for those exercising their freedom to remain unvaccinated. And why I have no problem if those who choose to remain unvaccinated are denied jobs or have to pay, out of their own pocket, for tests to prove they are not infected with COVID.

Give him credit. Live Free or Die? He died for what he believed in. And the vaccine didn’t kill him.

I find it strange that there would any kind of issue at all with people in the military when it comes to getting the FDA approved Covid vaccine. It kind of goes with the territory.

The vaccine is given as soon as practicable after in-processing or training. This vaccine is required routinely only for recruits, although its use may be indicated in other situations based on transmission potential and risk of contracting meningococcal disease.

Mumps Measles Mumps and rubella (MMR) are administered to all recruits regardless of prior history.

Polio A single dose of trivalent OPV is administered to all enlisted accessions. Officer candidates, ROTC cadets, and other Reserve Components on initial active duty for training receive a single dose of OPV unless prior booster immunization as an adult is documented.

    https://theweek.com/coronavirus/100...ing-body-of-evidence-that-the-trump-was-aware

Email exchanges obtained by the House's select subcommittee on the COVID-19 pandemic "add to the growing body of evidence that the Trump administration knew the significant risk posed by the coronavirus but failed to execute an effective strategy to reduce the loss of American lives," Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) wrote in a letter to former Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro on Tuesday, per The Washington Post.

In one email dated Feb. 29, 2020, Steven Hatfill, a virologist advising the administration, told Navarro that "we do not have a clue how many people are infected" in the United States, and warned that the first wave of cases "will be accompanied by a massive loss of credibility" for the White House. He urged "frank honesty" and "decisive direct actions" from the federal government just hours after former President Donald Trump had publicly undersold the threat of the virus and praised his team's response.

Navarro went on to tell Trump the next day that their response was "not fast enough" and a "very serious public health emergency" was coming, but public rhetoric didn't change much in the aftermath.

Thanks for looking this up and posting. I kind of felt like this was the case, but having never been in the military, did not really know enough to comment.

There are 179 million fully vaccinated people in the US as of 2 days ago and 42 million people who have reported cases of COVID. If you assume they have natural immunity now, that is 221 million out of roughly 330 million people with some level of immunity to it. That is 67% of the country.

Number of children in the U.S. by age 2019 | Statista

There are 48 million under the age of 12, taking that off of the 330 then that leave 284 million eligible to be vaccinated. So we have vaccinated 63% of the eligible population.

Informative. I can't even remember half the shots the navy gave me, it seems like they did them in groups (I assume they knew what they were doing). As I said before, the anthrax series was definitely unforgettable.

With all that crap running thru my body, I will either die soon or at the age of 150.

OK, the problem with that first part is nobody seems to be tracking how many of those who have had COVID are vaccinated.

Many who have had COVID have been vaccinated as well. I do not believe you can just assume a straight sum as though they are two mutually exclusive groups.

Better yet, someone who actually knows something about immunology. That rules out most GPs.

Interesting comment, but the way I see it, any GP is going to have more than anecdotal evidence on how COVID is impacting his/her customers (same for how the vaccines are impacting them). A decent GP should be educating himself/herself on what those with expertise in immunology are putting out there as well. It seems awfully presumptuous to rule out "most GPs," but even if that is recommended, how are all the folks who now rule out their GP going to get access to those with immunology expertise?

My GP was actually a specialist in infectious disease. Really sharp guy, just retired. Had a great conversation with him a few years ago, after my wife and I had a potential exposure to hantavirus. We had stayed in a cabin in Yosemite that the CDC traced as the source of a small outbreak cluster. That was an interesting letter we got from the CDC. And let to this hilarious exchange with my Dr:

Me: Doc, I got a letter from the CDC that I may have been exposed to hantavirus
    Dr: Cool!
    Me: Huh?
Dr: In all my years as a doctor, no one has EVER called me about a hantavirus exposure... tell me about it
Me: <explain CDC letter, cabin, etc...>
    Dr: When were you there?
    Me: <gives dates>
    Dr: You're fine
    Me: How do you know?
Dr: If you had hanta, you'd be dead by now...
