You haven’t missed anything... at least not from Florida.
Keyontae said he intends to play basketballl again, but that hasn’t been given clearance, nor a timeline for one. And so his playing days with Florida are very much unknown. Further- he said it still being determined what happened.... which seems bizarre to me. I can’t imagine there is more to be learned 8 months later, but who knows???

Patric Young is NOT walking through that door. Get used to it.

    Wait a minute...

Very strange indeed. Can't believe after the myriad tests he's no doubt had they still don't know the cause or how he can avoid something similar happening in the future. Almost as interesting is if he leaves because he can't get confirmation to play here. Would think the staff would be doing everything in their power to keep him here and get official clearance. Truly bizarre as you say that we're still in the same place 8 months later...

Medicine is often not cut and dried. I'm sure they've looked for and ruled out obvious causes. Heart blockage, arterial blockage, arrhythmia, stroke... But maybe he had a problem that appeared and disappeared. Maybe he had a small blood clot that shut down circulation and then was dislodged and moved on and dissolved. I don't know. I'm not a doctor. But I have watched enough episodes of "House" to sound smart.

Blackshear was a decent rebounder at both ends and got to the line a lot. I just wish that he was a better free throw shooter.

CC needs to get to the line more and hit the FTs when he has them. The rest of his game is decent.

Kerry shot 79.2% from the line at UF. That's pretty good.

    323rd in the country.

When you get to the line as often as he did he should be better. He was GREAT at getting to the line.

Sounded as good, or better, than some doctors I've been to.

#323 out of 5,522 Division 1 basketball players = top 6%. Pretty damned good, in my opinion.

I wish I would have seen this prior to dinnertime last Friday, because my family and I sat at the table right next to him and his date at a restaurant here in Gainesville about 3 hours later! I would have given him my congrats.

The improtant question to me is how KB did against other centers that log enough minutes to be considered a starter or big off the bemch.

Most big men do not shoot near 80% from the line.

Go watch the Duke/Va Tech sweet sixteen game from a few years ago. It was that game that had me salivating about KB coming to UF. KB had 18 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists in the 2 point loss to Duke. He was brilliant.

Um, is it okay that I have toe fungus or should I take that medicine they advertise that is expensive and I need to take for the rest of my life, which may not be that long because of that line they say during the pictures of rainbows and unicorns "may cause instant death"?

I thank you for your timely response. I may have inadvertently taken a dose of a free sample my wife got in the mail.

He did not have the talent around him at VT that he had at Florida.

    Nonsense.
They finished 26-9 (12-6); they were a 4-seed in the tourney, lost to Duke by a basket in the Sweet 16; and ended the year ranked 14/16. Hokies spent several weeks ranked inside the top 10.
The team had 4 players average in double figures, led by eventual first-round draftee, Alexander-Walker.
