I think 40 percent is right at the national average no matter the career, even hospital employees. But marines may be surprised when they need to show their covid passport to be able to fight in Ukraine. ;)

The combination of extremely poorly educated people, coupled with Politically motivated/manipulated willful ignorance and topped off with more than one time where the government lied/used people as unwitting experimental subjects will be difficult to impossible to overcome.

Not sure how many people can see the article at the below link (pay site), but it is a really good good breakdown of how this vaccine works. Sadly, too many Americans can not even understand this most basic explanation, let alone take away enough of it to refuse the most ignorant of claims (vaccines re-writing your DNA).

    How the Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine Works

How the AZ vaccine works? Doesn’t matter how it works, it’s not even approved for emergency use in the US

It very much matters how it works. It works along similar lines to numerous other vaccines.

Do you know how the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine, that is approved for us in the United States, works? Turns out, it is same technology as the AstraZeneca vaccine. They are what experts call adenovirus vectored, DNA based vaccines. So.....you could actually learn about how vaccines that are approved work by doing a little reading about similar, yet not exact, vaccines.

And I think there will be a giant fight, many reasonable people aren't going to line up their kids to get a vaccine that isn't fully approved to prevent a disease that has such a low mortality rate in kids.

Have you never heard the term herd immunity? All need to get the vacxine to protect those who can't.

Not all need to get the vaccine to get to herd immunity.

If the people with the high risk for bad outcomes get vaccinated they are protected.

Kids with a 0.00003% mortality rate don't need the risk until the vaccines have been approved and observed for years.

I have seen far to many approved meds with years of pre approval study pulled off the market after post marketing review showed issues.

I get that not all need to get the vaccine to get to herd immunity but with the idiot Trumpers still refusing that means that a very large percentage of the rational people should get the vaccine.
