It’s Louisville who has made one of the few evolutions in positions I’ve seen on this board - hoax to yikes. I give him props even though he spouts righty nonsense at times. :)

This resident independent skipped his post but liked yours which have similar good news. Why’s that? One of you is reasonable and worth my time responding. No, I can’t be bothered to even click a “like” button for that poster. I’ve wasted too many of my precious hours on this earth reading his absurd drivel.

Hyper partisans exist on both sides. I just like to give everyone a fair shake on each topic. His post deserved a lot of likes, that's all.

I chose it because it was recent. It happens all the time. I have just never pointed it out before...And I click like for you quite often. :)

You're missing out on a lot of really bad predictions and on a lot of sanctimonious posts towards liberals for being so callous and putting politics ahead of the good of the people/country.

That is what happens when the facts on the ground (even according to the experts) change by the hour. Going out on a limb here and guessing none of you have ever watched The Weather Channel, where scientists change their mind 5 times in a day and still get it wrong routinely. But you know, new viruses and pandemics, much easier, right?

I think you’ve received credit for evolving your position. It’s mature and as you pointed out there was an unveiling of information over time. You still post explicitly to irritate libbies at times though. I myself am never inflammatory. o_O yea right.

Here’s one of my earlier posts. I didn’t seem worried back then.

Boy, after all the trolling he did over what a hoax this thing is, I'll give having to listen to any sanctimony from him a hard pass.

My sister was in a room with a patient without airborne gear because they didn't suspect he had COVID. Well she found out today he was positive and he came off the vent which aerosolizes the virus. She was in the room for hours. Her hospital won't test her. They told her they are her employer not healthcare provider, and she should call her primary. This is how we treat our healthcare providers.

30331 new cases and 1255 new deaths in the United States

An estimated additional 180 - 195 deaths per day occurring at home in New York City due to COVID-19 are not being counted in the official figures. "Early on in this crisis we were able to swab people who died at home, and thus got a coronavirus reading. But those days are long gone. We simply don't have the testing capacity for the large numbers dying at home. Now only those few who had a test confirmation *before* dying are marked as victims of coronavirus on their death certificate. This almost certainly means we are undercounting the total number of victims of this pandemic," said Mark Levine, Chair of New York City Council health committee [source]

The official number of deaths are now below the Saturday peak but with the people dying at home the number might still be higher.

United States Coronavirus: 367,004 Cases and 10,871 Deaths - Worldometer

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. Reminds me a bit of my cousin who's in her fifth day fightin this bastard. RN, attending to a patient she was told didn't have it. Unmasked (because they were trying to preserve ppe supplies). Yup, he had it. Don't know if it was him she got it from but still.

    Which is more likely?

Liberal media headlines: "TRUMP SAVES 11,000 AMERICANS!!!"

or: "TRUMP SLAUGHTERS 81,700 AMERICANS!!! MORE THAN KOREAN WAR!!!"

That's terrible. No nurse should ever have to put themselves at risk because there's a PPE shortage in the richest country on Earth.

Oh and a bonus: My sister is scheduled to work tomorrow and her boss said come on in and they can "discuss" how to move forward. We have drive up testing places in Jax but the results take up to 2 weeks. Her hospital can get results in 12 hours but refuses to.

I would seriously go to the press. If word got out on that they would change in about 7 minutes, or however long it took the head of the hospital to call downstairs and yell at people.
