You're losing me. What do you mean by "enough people to mean a lot?"

Small states just having one outbreak at a nursing home can make it look out of control.

I guess the best way would be adding all the populations country wide by party of Governor which would give a similar result to what I posted above

If I understand correctly you are trying to tie some correlation of Dem governors and coronavirus outbreaks? If so you need to provide more info than you have up to this point.

I already provided it but I guess people don't want to see it. You want me to do the whole country's population that way and what it is under Dem Governors and Rep Governors? Its going to show a similar pattern to the states with some size.

I believe he is trying to say that he filtered out anomalies and outliers. I am not agreeing with him, just helping with his verbal expression.

Maybe it would be a good idea. That way it doesn't appear as if you are cherry-picking to make your point.

Maybe so, I'm not sold on his contention though.

New = confirmed cases. Of course the number of cases will rise due to testing being more available. It's the death, and ICU numbers that will be worrisome.

Better idea is to force her to eat it all right there and if she pukes, keeping on eating.

Approx 53% of the population is under Democrat Governors but they make up 84% of the passings from coronavirus at 2:30 today. I would say that is a pretty clear correlation showing Dems aren't performing well except Newsome etc.

If you are going to throw out California shouldn't you also throw out NY as an outlier? See the problem with that approach?

Recall that correlation does not necessarily equal any kind of causation. I'm still trying to figure out how it is you believe a Dem governor of a state has any effect on the number of cases of coronavirus. It seems you could just as easily say the states which have Dem governors are better at testing than the states who have Rep governors, although I would not believe this without proof either. Your whole supposition seems to have a lot of holes in it.

I didn't throw out any state. I just gave Newsome credit for low numbers since many Dem Govs are doing poorly it appears. That is the whole country.

Basically the same thing. Cali didn't fit the profile you were building so you gave it a pass even though it is the most populous state in the union.

So you're creating your own coronavirus electoral college to assess governors?

    I'll play

China has 1.2 billion people and 81,000 confirmed covid cases.

The US has 350 million people and 75,000+ confirmed covid cases.

I guess Xi is 4x the president that Trump is.

Oh, this game is so easy.
