Idk if Steve Stifler's statement was posted here or not? But to paraphrase he said fun and excitement is otw. I think he's playing everyone like a fiddle, and imho wants a unique announcement.

So then we need to stop the games and just give Kelly the keys to the castle

It is far more damaging to hire a mediocre coach and losing more years than it is giving a coach all the power

Why isn't Chip Kelly coaching anywhere?

Miles would be a horrendous hire? Bro, you can't even make that argument. It's a loser. Miles has a proven SEC track record and a national championship. There's zero chance that he's a horrendous hire. At worst, he's not a HR hire. Unfortunately, some of y'all seem to think that the next Saban will just appear to us. If we don't get Kelly or Frost, Les is the next best option (assuming the top coaches stay at their current jobs).

We will wind up with someone like Charlie Strong. Good guy, great recruiter and will do OK. We will have a nice, clean football program but i will be shocked if we compete at the highest level again in the next decade.

It is his job. There is a very good chance that the Swamp will be half empty next year with a coach walking in on the hot seat. Who takes responsibility for that?

At this point of the coaching search it has become clear that we are being very shortsighted on our real goal. Who knew 1000 pages could be attained? As a team of concerned fans we can only raise our goals and see the numbers rise!
    LET'S GO FOR 2000!!!!

I'll try to find the link. I didn't bother to save it since I figured it would have already been posted.

You should probably get out more cause the Chip Kelly to UF hype was all over the place, not just message board weirdos.

Les was coaching last year too. Chip Kelly could have gotten a job if he wanted one. Same is true of Les. Chip decided to wait for the right job. Same is true of Les Miles.

List the current CFB coaches who have won a national title. Les Miles is in a select club. His record at LSU speaks volumes. Anyone trying to claim he's a horrendous hire is either full of it or knows nothing about football. Great coaches don't forget how to coach. Andy Reid proved that after the Eagles fired him. Mark Richt proved that after UGA fired him. Les Miles isn't a HR hire. He isn't Chip Kelly. But he's a safe hire who will return us to respectability.
