    The guy had a show-cause due to his lack of oversight regarding the Willie Lyles scouting affair. I'm grateful for our approach, the last thing we ever need again is NCAA sanctions.

    I wouldn't be so sure that anybody on this staff is retained, Seider included. The guys he wants to bring will more than make up for anyone on this staff though.

    Understandably so with the recruiting oversight, but the mandate to retain certain staff? I don't know about that. If that's true, I think that's stupid and I like Randy Shannon. I don't know the typical contract length for a coach, but 300+ pages sounds like quite a bit to me, with a lot of scenarios thought of and stipulations.

    I’ve only seen a rumor that Shannon will be retained in some capacity. Doesn’t necessarily mean on the coaching staff though.
