I just don't necessarily believe that, but that's just me. I think that's just a weak narrative to prop up the delay. You don't hire a HC & 10 assistants at one time. Yes, you ask the guy who he has in mind for key positions and throughly discuss it. Then you vet each one as the HC submits his desire to hire said coaches.
I sure hope the delay is not because Scott wants to "interview" another guy or two when their season is over. Waiting would be beyond foolish when a Marlin like Chip Bleeping Kelly is swimming out there ready to be hooked. Land him Scott!

All I said was Low isn't some blowhard who likes hearing himself talk, and he MIGHT have some inside info considering he and Kelly work college football for ESPN.

Well If you pay attention you will see that I have always said I am not an insider and that I do not have a deep source. I have said it is a systematic approach all along. As for your charge that I need attention or a legacy, I have been here for 15 years and to my knowledge have never one time claimed any deep knowledge of the underbelly of the program. Most here seem to get this and most have gotten to know me over the years as someone who treats people right and has a pretty clean record of being fair and honest.

What I do know is this. Everything I have posted here has been backed up behind the scenes by multiple people that I trust here. Some who are part of the very system that I claim to use. If CK is not our coach next week, I believe it will be due to a change for trajectory in this process, not because the current info is false.

Go look at the MacElwain thread. I clearly credited in the OP, TOS and a very solid source their.

I can assure you of this, I don't need a legacy here. I save that for my family and friends.

If you'd like to be embarrased I'd be happy to trot exhibit A, but I think it would just be better for all if people stoped pretending they have legitimate sources and not just a keyboard
