On Saturday, the Florida Gators hosted a mixture of out of state prospects and several instate prospects for the spring game in the Swamp.
Receiver Marc Britt (6-2, 190, Miami, FL. Miami Christian School) was one of those guys in Gainesville and he enjoyed his visit.
“The visit was great,” Britt said of his visit to Florida on Saturday. “It was nothing but South Florida still, the Florida Gators still show love. I like the visit. I liked the crowd, the fans made noise and got me hyped.”
Britt paid close attention to the Gators offense on Saturday and he liked the play of the receivers during the game.
“The wide receivers here play aggressive,” he said on the play of the receivers during the spring game. “I like how they play, they go up for the ball and they play strong. I like the offense, it’s fast.”
Receivers coach Billy Gonzales also spoke with Britt for a while on Saturday about needing the receiver in Gainesville.
“I talked to Coach [Billy] Gonzales,” Britt said. “He hopes to see me here next season and he wants me here. He likes how aggressive I play.”
Next up for Britt is official visits and he knows of two visits coming up and he also knows of another team that will get an official visit.
“Penn State for an official,” he said on what visits are coming up next. “Summer time, the only official I have set up for is to Pittsburgh on June 14th. Florida is going to get an official, I’ll be talking to them about when.”
The Gators are one of five teams that Britt says is recruiting him hard and he says one thing stands about Florida’s recruiting efforts of him so far.
“Penn State, Florida, Alabama, Miami and Pittsburgh,” Britt said on schools in the mix for him. “They [Florida] are just showing love.”
