Gators softball team to play 5 exhibitions

The Florida Gators softball team will play five exhibition games this fall to get ready for the 2010 season.

Coach Tim Walton’s Gators, who finished 63-5 as NCAA runners-up in 2009, will play all four games at the Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.

On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Florida plays Santa Fe College at 6 p.m. Florida then will play Seminole State College of Florida in a doubleheader on Friday, Oct. 23 beginning at 4 p.m. Santa Fe again visits on Thursday, Nov. 5 and the fall season concludes on Friday, Nov. 13 against Chipola College. Those last two games will begin at 6 p.m.
