Four Gators were named to Team USA for the 2012 IAAF World Junior Track & Field Championships, having finished in the top two of their event at the 2012 USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Bloomington, Ind.

Rising sophomore Taylor Burke (Medina, Ohio) claimed the USA Junior Championship in the women’s high jump, earning her a spot at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain from July 10-15.

Burke cleared 1.80m/5-10.75 to take home the title, as the 2012 SEC Champion in the women’s high jump didn’t miss a bar until her final height.
