With the transfer portal playing an increasingly large role in the roster construction of football programs across the country, it should come as no surprise that Billy Napier has someone on his staff who oversees the evaluation of portal players. Meet Bird Sherrill, the Gators' director of college personnel.

Director of Player Athletic Development Joe Danos was hired in December to help injured players transition back into the flow of things using a data-driven and goal-oriented approach.

Billy Napier has hired Benedick Hyppolite as a quality control coach who will work with the running backs. Hyppolite had been serving as a graduate assistant at Miami since 2020 and is best known for his time coaching at some of the most talent-rich high schools in South Florida.

Billy Napier discussed the beginning of the "Identity" phase, the late addition of Arlis Boardingham to the 2022 class and more on Friday morning.

Rachel Adamkowski has joined the Gators' staff as a football performance dietitian. She worked for the Cleveland Browns' performance nutrition department in 2021.

Billy Napier has tabbed Tamsyn Stonebarger as the Gators' associate director of digital strategy. She most recently worked for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2021 as a social media associate. 

Billy Napier has retained Chase Clark as part of the Gators' recruiting staff. He will serve as the assistant director of college personnel/on-campus recruiting coordinator. Clark joined the UF staff in 2019 as an assistant director of player personnel.

Mike Richard has joined the Gators' staff as a quality control coach. He will assist offensive line coaches Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton and fellow quality control coach Cheston Blackshear. He worked at Louisiana from 2014-21.
