As I posted on a previous thread, I'll bet it's more about what his lawyers want to do rather than GZ. He is WAY up there in expenses to them and they are looking for ways to get paid. He is mostly in for the ride. JMHO

If I were GZ, I'd be out for every dime they have. What they did was dead wrong and could very well still get GZ killed. People were fired, and retractions made. Not enough. Guaranteed NBC will be paying out millions in a settlement. They are screwed and well they should be.

But the alternative is to just slough away and try to eek out a life somewhere. Fighting is a choice, and most likely his lawyers call. Pay us what we are owed or show up when and where we tell you to, while getting some spending cash along the way. Your choice.

Not really much of a choice.

His lawyers knew when they took this case this guy doesn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. This was done to get them on the map. It certainly worked.

You are right GZ has a choice. Live in poverty or put a couple of million in your bank account courtesy of the lying MSM. I know what I would do.

for all the reasons stated in the post above.....I would fight for everything I could get. The incident was what it was but it is the media distortion that created the circus and forever effects his life.

Without incorrectly portraying GZ as a racist, this case makes no national waves. I'm looking forward to seeing GZ also sue the state for civil rights violations in withholding exculpatory evidence.

don't forget about the governments role in the distortion by withholding evidence.

Funny, imagine what the reactions from the pro-TM crowd if the roles were reversed. A black man lawfully defending himself against a white kid and then the media and the government lie, distort, and conceal to build a false case against him and get the whole country in a divided uproar.....

I hope he crushes them. Their behavior was absolutely inexcusable. Vulgar, even.

It was old news, but then NBC had the whole thing put on hold pending the criminal trial. It shall now be, in legal vernacular, "on like donkey kong". Hell, maybe it's GE/Comcast that want a federal investigation just so they can try to put this off again. They have absolutely no defense at trial.

Unfortunately, the FBI has already run an investigation on GZ to establish basis for a "hate crime" or federal civil rights violation case.

    came back with nothing....

Didn't stop them from reopening their investigation, unfortunately, under a total pretense, and starting a bona fide (well, mala fide) tip line to get a bunch of people to fabricate claims of racism by Zimmerman... er, to obtain new evidence.

How much money is going to be spent to go after this guy?

Honestly.....and all based on lies, distortion, and the need to satisfy the agenda.

by the hands of our own government.

Giving nuts a reason to kill you, should not also come with a profit.

Nope, whoever made and used that tape should cost NBC tens of millions of dollars in either award or settlement.

When asked how the not-guilty verdict affects the civil case against NBC News, Beasley responded, “This verdict of not guilty is just that, and shows that at least this jury didn’t believe that George was a racist, profiling, or anything that the press accused George of being.

    NBC's version of Beasley's quote:

    "This verdict...shows that...George was a racist."

NBC was just applying in the media to influence the court of public opinion, what they believed occurred in the street: a racist opportunity to kill disguised as a plug-a-thug.

Doing so, they raced to the conclusion that GZ was the racist thug who plugged, and necessarily squeezed him into their narrative by inventing facts to portray him as such.

    He wasn't.
