He is the type of player if he beat UK with a three hell I'd cheer myself.
I once played intramurals at UF with a guy that was in grad school that played at South Carolina when Frank Maguire was the coach there. (As you can tell this is a long time ago.) He was right handed and during the season he broke a bone in his right wrist. He then played with a soft cast and shot left-handed and one handed and still drilled 3's. Amazing.
The crossover is overrated.
I'm so happy for the kid. Congrats to him! BillyD is so awesome.
This, me too on all counts.
Gotham, that's the funniest damn thing I've read all month long! Thanks for the laugh!!!
Sounds like Donovan gave the kid a lot better opportunity than Calipari.
What? The Fugitive reference not good enough for you?
Haha. Great movie, great reference too. But it took creativity. I was just surprised at the lack of dumb, cheesy remarks...
Serious question -- his clips show him on offense, but how does his lack of a left forearm impact his defense? Has anyone seen him play that side of the ball?
I sure love the way he passes the ball.
Movie? It was a tv show.
It was both
I'm just relieved that Donovan will search every outhouse, farmhouse, henhouse and doghouse for good players.
We will let other coach search whorehouses.
The story made the British press. Kinda cool.
Local Kentucky radio talked about Zach today - talking about a recent visit he went on to UF campus. Said he was treated like "an all American" and that Billy told him he wasn't some charity case and that he'd help the team win at some point (paraphrasing). Like I said previously, the co-host is Zach's Godfather. I'm sure that's how he know this stuff. He also gave a lot of credit to Pelfry for the recruitment.
Another note, this kid can actually tie his shoes with one hand. I can't even picture how that is possible.
Hell, shoelace-tying is a grad seminar at UK, isn't it?
Dan Uggla offers proof that forearms can be overrated for athletes.
Brits don't care a lot about hoops. Must be a cultural fascination with amputations.
