Alright - you're JF, what would you say or do?
What's your current time table and expectations for the remainder of the season.

My opinion, I give boom till the fsu game to make a decision and consider the entire 3 seasons. If I don't see progress offensively and a competitive team in all phases of the game which includes at least 2 wins over fsu, sc or dawgs - I would have no choice but to say goodbye to boom.

3 million is way too much to pay a coach with the resulting Product.

Traub, I mean this in the nicest possible way, but if you read the other threads, you can tell exactly what other posters would do.

I'd look around and try to figure out how I came into possession of a JF.

I'd stop hiring coordinators to be head coaches of my program...immediately. It's like giving 16 year old, who barely knows how to drive, a Ferrari....not smart...not smart at all. We need an experienced and proven head coach who doesn't need 3 or more tries to find a competent offensive coordinator or o-line coach.

In 1960 UF hired Georgia Tech's defensive coordinator as head coach. Ray Graves was an excellent head coach, he put UF football on the map in his first year, came within one interception of winning the SEC. To say it shouldn't be done because of Ron Zook (the jury is still out on Muschamp) is to ignore the history of UF football.

Jury is in on Muschamp: On the charge of producing a garbage, 100th+ ranked offense 3 years in a row, Gator fans find Muschamp ... Guilty. On the charge of being an embarrassment to Gator Nation on T.V., Gator fans find Muschamp ... Guilty. On the charge of turning our defense into something Mickey Andrews would be proud of, Gator fans find Muschamp ... Guilty. Muschamp is hereby sentenced to 7 years coaching in the Big 10 at the University of Minnesota.

Pretty sure that today's football program looks nothing like it did over half a century ago. Present day Florida should never hire a coordinator as a head coach..Foley should make a plaque of that, put it in his office and read it every day.

I'd rush out and find a broke English major to tutor me on the proper use of the apostrophe.

A broke 3rd grader could do this and he'd probably charge a lot less.

You know Foley was turned down by other coaches before he offered Champ right? He wasn't his top 2 choices . (Possibly a 3rd) I know for a fact.

What the F is a JF? Sorry, but I'm behind the curve on this one (yes - I know who Jeremy Foley is).

I was not aware of that...the official story, at least here on Gator Country, was that Muschamp was the first and only call...who turned us down?
