Good luck!!!! Keep us posted
I work from home most of the time. When I do go to the office (actually an incubator space for tech startups), I have a .8 mile walk and then a 20 minute ride on the Green Line, an elevated east bound CTA commuter train into downtown Chicago, then a two minute ride north on the Brown Line to the Merchandise Mart. I like being able to chill, read the paper, play around with my iPhone or talk to other commuters. Sometimes I just enjoy the scenery. If I'm able to get the front seat in the front car, the view is spectacular, especially the last mile or two into downtown.
I don't like driving to work, not even to the train. I only do that when it's raining.
I do it (from Indian Shores to Brandon area). People always ask, "Why don't you move to Tampa." If they're from Tampa, I leave out the part about how Tampa, to me, equals Traffic, Dirty, Ugly and go with "It may take me an hour, but when I come over that bridge, I'm very happy to be home."
Trying to find something similar when I relocate to Jax in a month or so. Gonna be hard. I like it up there but I absolutely love my place here.
etc. = husband, right?:awkward:
