I'm sure there are plenty of studies out there that show that a felon is more likely to have a felon for a parent than say some random civilian.

Fewer criminals making fewer future criminals is net plus for society.

I see nothing wrong with it.

You see nothing wrong with forced sterilization. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I see nothing wrong with *voluntary* sterilization (including adoption) in exchange for reduced sentences.

See, I told you "rationality" in the face of poverty/criminality will keep the demand for eugenics alive.

I would think that pro lifers would be open to a system of sterilization as it will likely cause a reduction in abortions. Perhaps if an easy, safe, reversible sterilization procedure were developed we could significantly impact the abortion rate. Then if citizens make the concious choice to have children they could undergo a procedure to regain fertility.

    Just thinking outside the box.

I never said anything about "forced sterilization."

Read harder next time and look up the word "incentivize" while you are at.

Vasectomies for every 16 yo male. Want a drivers license? Snip-snip!

Reversible by age 26, with proof of emotional maturity, financial stability, and obedience of course.

There has been studies done on generations of silver foxes in Russia/ USSR since the late 1940s that pointed to some social behaviors are passed on genetically and that how we ended up with domesticated animals. It doesn't justify eugenics, but behavior genetics is not all pseudoscience.
