Appears the women will open this weekend with a bit of a shocking lineup. From last year, Oyen drops from 2 to 5 and Janowicz goes from 5 to 1! It does look like it more-or-less makes sense based on the fall results and current rankings, but wow, definitely not what I expected coming into this season.

    Florida
    Coach: Roland Thornqvist
    #1 [#17] Olivia Janowicz (F: 17-3; O: 18-5)
    #2 [#23] Alexandra Cercone (F: 6-4; O: 6-4)
    #3 [#18] Brianna Morgan (F: 13-4; O: 13-4)
    #4 [#39] Kourtney Keegan (F: 13-4; O: 14-6)
    #5 [#27] Sofie Oyen (F: 7-6; O: 8-8)
    #6 [#36] Belinda Woolcock (F: 18-5; O: 18-5)
    #7 Stefanie Stojic (F: 7-5; O: 7-5)

    Doubles
    #1 Keegan / Oyen (F: 0-0; O: 0-0)
    #2 Morgan / Woolcock (F: 0-0; O: 0-0)
    #3 Cercone / Stojic (F: 0-0; O: 0-0)

Shocked at that somewhat, but Oyen really had a bad fall and Jano played well. Simple fact is UF doesn't really have a legit 1 or 2 player this season (mirror image of mens team) since they lost out when Kiick turned pro. Gonna be a tough season vs elite teams and UF will likely fall back out of the top 4-6 teams. Morgan should be a stud at 3 and Keegan started to come on late in the fall. Woolcock is a bit of a wild card but apparently has the talent to excel.

Should be a challenging year, but the recruiting class is probably as good as any UF has ever signed, with 3 top 10 players and 2 of those probably top 3-4.

Opening vs Lville this morning. Struggled in doubles but managed to win the point.

Singles matches under way. Jano didn't play doubles and is not in the singles lineup either. Cercone already down a break playing #1, Stojic slides into the 6 spot.Keegan crusing up 5-0 at #3

Seem to be a little rusty in some spots, but cruised to another 4-0 over Harvard with double-bagels in singles from Keegan and Oyen.

Today was what I expect, dominant at 4-5 and pretty good at 3 and 6. Jano hit the court today
